Warehouse Stock

Thanks to the efficient and computerized management of the warehouse, 70,000 articles and 70,000 cata-log codes are ready to be shipped with the delivery times expressed in hours and not weeks. This allows a real-time control of the inventory, the entry of goods, storage and shipments to maintain constantly the optimal presence of the lots and minimum security stock. Our customers can therefore count on the avai-lability of every type of spare part and technical item.

After decades of activity, Crosa has privileged relationships with the leading companies in the sector of the industrial items production, starting from SKF, Alfalaval and SMC: it is an official dealer of each of the-se brands. With SKF, in particular, it has a collaborative relationship that has continued since the company was founded.

Finally, with some partners, Crosa agreed on "consignment stock" formulas, with the possibility of delive-ring to customers the required stock material at any time.

Therefore the high-end products are always available in real time.

Logistics

Logistics

The logistic organization is crucial to guarantee a high level service and that is why it has always been a priority for Crosa. For a professional and up to date logistics structure, we guarantee our customers three additional advantages: quality, speed and product traceability.

Quality means control of incoming and outgoing goods, adequate packaging and constant assistance and expertise services.

Rapidity means having, thanks to the automatic reorder management, a large warehouse stock that al-lows the delivery in the same day. The maintenance times are thus greatly reduced and our customers' production lines can quickly become operational. The use of barcodes allows to speed up picking and in-ventory management; a next-generation management software gives the possibility to consult online the stock availability which is always updated in real time and to manage the locations.

Once the order has been verified, it is then marked with a specific barcode that identifies the number and marks the beginning of the shipment. In this way the shipment “can be tracked" and the customer can always be updated on the status of his delivery. On request we can offer a direct delivery, both in Italy and abroad.

Crosa warehouse is partially automated.

2017

The website https://shop.crosa.it is online – More than 100,000 industrial spare parts are available in stock delivered throughout Europe in 48 hours

New organization and new software for the warehouse with management of the locations, strengths: control, quality and traceability of the product.

The plastics department is enriched with a 5-axis pantograph. Actually the pantographs are two.

Crosa staff reaches 36 employees; there are 15,000 active customers, distributed between e-commerce customers and customers coming from traditional channels.

2016

The installation of a first unit of the Automatic warehouse takes place for the management of the plastic rods with the length of 3000 mm

IKEA joins Crosa customer list.

E-bay Full-Power-Transmission store was inaugurated

2010

The first 3-axis pantograph arrives for the execution of the designed parts according to the drawing.

2008

Construction of a new shed to start the plastics processing department with the spline cutter. The total logistics area reaches 3.000 sq.

2002

Crosa is transformed: from automotive parts dealer it becomes an industrial components seller, bringing with it the attitude of a high service developed in the automotive sector.

2001

Crosa changes the headquarters: the current headquarters is situated in Corso Canale 68; the staff con-sists of 7 employees.

1996

The first SKF distributor in Europe to make an on-line connection with a customer, Ferrero S.p.a.

1990

Francesca Sartore, the third-born-child of the family, joins Crosa: the administrative and logistic direction will soon pass into her hands, allowing Giovanni to take over the Purchasing and Commercial manage-ment.

1985

With the purchase of the first PC, Crosa is a leading company on Alba market. The transport documents are computerized which makes the deliveries in real time.

The second-born-son, Giovanni Sartore, joins the company team too, initially to dedicate himself to ad-ministration and logistics area.

1979

Maurizio Sartore, the eldest son of Piero and Francesca, begins to take care of the family business follo-wing the counter sales.

1977

A new employee is hired, still in force at Crosa, today Sales Manager: Giuseppe Biscia.

1975

The activity is transferred to a larger space with a bigger warehouse, which is always situated in Corso To-rino in Alba, but at number 8.

1962

Piero and Francesca Sartore take over the historic brand CROSA & SASSERNO 'present in Alba since 1914 and dating back to 1897. It was initially active in the transportation sector, after the Second World War, it survives with the repair and resale of spare parts in the transportation sector and becomes CROSA (Trade Spare Parts Every Kind of Cars). He is already a RIV dealer (current SKF). When the family Sartore takes over the brand, C.R.O.S.A. becomes CROSA (Sartore Alba Genuine Parts Sales) based in corso Torino 6 in Alba. It deals with the prestigious brands such as RIV (SKF) for bearings, Pirelli for belts, Lobo for bolts. In addition to automotive spare parts, it begins to deal with industrial spare parts. Together with the two owners there is a first employee.
